mount of nitrogen you give to potato plants.

Certain varieties of potatoes can handle high levels of nitrogen, while others cannot. Be cautious and treat all potatoes the same way. Avoid giving potato plants large quantities of nitrogen with your urea fertilizer. Urea fertilizers can be applied directly onto potato plants, or in a solution with other fertilizers, as long as the solution is made up of 30% nitrogen or less.Solutions of urea fertilizer that are more than 30% nitrogen should only be applied to fields before potatoes are planted. Fertilize grains with urea on a mild day.

Urea can be applied directly onto most cereal grains, but never in temperatures above 60° F 15.6° C. When applied in warmer temperatures, the plants will give off an odor of ammonia. Apply urea to corn seeds indirectly.

Only apply urea to corn indirectly, by spreading the urea onto soil at least 2 inches 5 cm away from the corn seeds. Direct exposure to urea is toxic to the seeds, and greatly reduces the corn plants yield. pg/aid9871947-v4-728px-Apply-Urea-Fertilizer-Step-6.jpg - licensed by Creative Commons - cc-by-sa-nc-3.0-self ---- creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/us/ -Last updated:14:41, 9 April 2018

What is BUN (Blood Urea Nitrogen)? What does it tell the nurse about their patient?

This video covers the basics of this important lab value to help you prepare for the NCLEX and take great care of your patient.

Do people call it “bun” or “b-u-n”?

Bounrith Douk

Thanks for the video

Aaron M

Great video. Could you possibly do one on creatinine?

Nesa Dcruz

When BUN goes down( from highs) does it mean Renal function has improved or is improving?

Rahmah Ba

Thank you

Speak up!

Very helpful video ⭐️⭐️

Which cause hyperammonemia between high BUN & high ammonia? Why? if it occurs both high BUN & high ammonia.

Ethan Satterly

Hey man. You helped me pass my finals last year. I am once again coming back for your
help hahahaha.

What happen to the nitrogen? Only urea excreted? Great video!

Insight Curiosity.

Thanks .

My BUN is 4 ,how can I increase my BUN ?

Jae Jones

My BUN is always really low but I require a low protein diet because of a urea cycle disorder. I swear I have to explain this every time I get my levels checked. I wish there were more education about UCDs in healthcare training! All rare conditions need more attention in training because everyone acts like it’s rare so you’ll probably never see it. But what about when they do see it?! So many times I had to tell them what to do! And when you are sick and barely conscious it’s incredibly difficult to think clearly and communicate articulately to get what you need at that moment! And nowadays everyone seems to immediately think that your blood glucose is low and they always want to give you some protein to help keep your glucose levels up. ??‍♀️

Sarah Kember

do you have any videos on renal issues (glomerulonephritis, etc).?

Linda Holder

What happens to nitrogen?

Ben Donahower

this video is very quiet. i couldn't hear it very well even with everything turned up all the way.

Spy Bug

Now I know why the nurse smiled when I called it a "Bun" hehe

Makwan Tall

Kudos for the Video clip! Apologies for the intrusion, I would love your opinion. Have you researched - Saayeahorn Inconceivable Secret (google it)? It is a great exclusive product for getting rid of gout minus the hard work. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my work colleague got cool results with it.

Sara Ho

Although I am still a high school biology student, which I am completely unfamiliar with the terms used but this video is really informative and it really helped me a lot. May I ask what are the functions of Bowman's capsule, the cortex, the medulla, the nephrons, the pelvis (connected to kidney), Loop of Henle, Glommerulus. Thank you!

Michael R. Wright

If one has Punctate Parenchymal Calcifications, usually where is the calcification located? Cortex, medulla or where?

mark V

So....my results were 22. Should I be concerned?

I have a BUN of 8 (9 to 20 normal range).
I am a 63 yr old man, any suggestions?

Debra Bohn

the handwriting tho!! :-(

LOVE this channel! Thank you so much for posting these videos!

Plantar Fasciitis Relief

I watched 6 minutes of this before I realize it's more about kidney anatomy than the BUN which is a biomedical term. I expected a biomedical explanation. Nursing videos have been pretty okay for me as a medicine student so far but this one was way below what I need to learn about the BUN.

If, BUN is increased. Then how to control this naturally ?
