You are so happy in this video Angie! Love it! And your brickCAT, LOL!!!
I use the Lavanila deodorant every day. It’s not meant to last 24 hours. I’ll take no chemicals and use a wipe under your arms at the end of the day if you feel your smell is that bad. It’s better for you try a different brand of natural deodorant to find one that works better for you. Not every one works with everybody’s body chemistry.
What do you think about Nars pure radiant tinted moisturizer?
Hate the cc cream spf 30 too ! I should have listened to the reviews!! Damn it , its crap for $39 !
Have recently converted to the SNS dip powder as well. LOVE!! My tech doesn’t cure under a UV light, though, just air dry with a fan. My nails are super thin, not bulky at all but really strong and I can go three weeks before filling. The formula is much better for your nails than traditional acrylic or gel. Love it!
Hi from New Mexico! Born and raised in Massachusetts, though. ?
Hi from the Netherlands!
Angie, please give your cat her own channel!:)
One thing about natural deodorants is your body needs to get used to it which could take a couple of weeks. You may find you don’t want to go back to antiperspirant.
I have to laugh when you talk about your wrinkles - I sure can’t see them ! You look beautiful! I’m 76, and I know a wrinkle when I see one. Love your videos!
I had almost given up on wearing mascara, but decided to purchase the EL Sumptuous Knockout. Oh my goodness! It seems to be perfection for hooded eyes. I love the small brush. It gives amazingly long, separated lashes. Highly recommend!
Oh and this is one of the loveliest eye make up looks I've ever seen!!
Does the dip gel contain acrylic? I have a severe allergy to mma. (Acrylic monomers).
I just found you in the past month and I loooooove you
Love your videos, your armpit experience was so funny. Keep up your good work.
Hi from Spain Angie
You have a new plaque from Youtube and a sign that says GIrl Boss. LOVE IT.
Hey Angie . I’ve purchased that same shampoo and conditioner for 50 bucks each here in Australia ??... ? ? .. please find a good dupe for it and make sure you let me know ? ? ?
I use Olaplex No. 3 and absolutely love it. If you have not tried it yet, you must! I wet my hair before bed and leave it in for the full night, then wash out in the morning in the shower. I shampoo and condition my hair as normal after rinsing it out. This product has completely repaired my split ends. I have long, thin, straight hair that tends to get split ended, but I can go way longer between cuts with this bottle. It is $28 but lasts a long time for that money. I have had mine for over 6 months and use it once per week—a little goes a long way.
I don’t have sensitive skin but my skin doesn’t like botanicals! I was using a botanical skin care line from an MLM company that my friend sells.I ended up going to the dermatologist!
My hair is badly damaged from coloring and heat. I tried the Olaplex #1-3 treatment ($70 CDN for the set from Overstock), and my hair is definitely much softer and smoother as a result. I would definitely recommend it and will keep using it. The last treatment I left on overnight for maximum effect ( a bit messy) but it was worth it!
Happy Sunday from Texas!!!
Wow. The PTR is my favorite sunscreen. I am total oily and it didn’t make it worse. And I have malasma and it made it look more blurred. Everyone, go try it! I’m 47yrs young btw.✌?
This was awesome. I use La Vanilla deodorant and I learned right away that I have to coat and coat it on before I go to bed at night!!! It is the best natural replacement I’ve found but it still doesn’t come close to comparing to regular deodorant!
I love love love the dip powder manicure. Our daughter just graduated from University of Miami and they had it down there. She raced about how it lasts an extra week or two. So I found my place had it here in New Jersey and I’m in love. I can go almost 4 weeks and NO CHIPS. The only caveat is you need to choose a lighter color so the grow out isn’t as noticeable. Love it. ❤️
Dip gel crumbled on my nails in less than a week. Not happy!
My week is not complete without checking your new post :) thank you for what you do best!
As a licensed cosmologist I wanted to offer some info on Olaplex many people don't know. It's a great product but if you switch your stylist make sure they know you have it on your hair as some products will not work over it. For example Aveda demi permanent color has a chemical reaction with it so it doesn't stick evenly. Also, note that Redken for half the price makes the same product under Redken PH Bonder $16.00 at Ulta for the pre-treatment conditioner. Under Redken color extend bonder they make the shampoo and conditioner as well. In answer to your question you can just use the pre-treament once a week (either olaplex or cheaper version of it by Redken) and use your regular shampoo-conditioner. The pre-treament is what will keep the bonding process and hair healthy. Cheers!
So sad to see that was your review of the Peter Thomas Roth Naked Mineral Sunscreen. I have very dry skin and it’s my holy grail! So many skin benefit ingredients and the subtle evening out of my skin tone. I do need to wear a mineral powder over it on my T zone. But I don’t find it greasy at all! So for those of you with dry mature skin, give it a try!! ?
I will try the Olaplex shampoo and conditioner because I also suffer from the frizz!
Hi from Ireland ???
Hello from San Francisco!
your cat: 100 fave points!
Angie, you are hilarious! “The smell coming out of my own armpits woke me up”
I don't know if you have Costco where you're at, but if you are a member they have the leave in treatment for 30 something for 2 bottles. Check your local warehouse store online.
I love the color of your nail polish. Can I please know the brand and color?
I can’t avoid thinking how convenient result for companies just not doing a decent range of shades for foundations, women buying not one but two bottles at the time in order to achieve the perfect shade is way to good! And I think if we fall in the game we’re supporting this practice. For me it’s a No. if they don’t have my shade I won’t mind. Cosmetics are pricey enough!
Hahahaha I laughed for a solid minute at your cat!??? Your reaction was MasterCard priceless!
Lol!! Dying laughing at the armpit story! ???
I use the Olaplex leave-on treatment and have been for years. I buy it from my stylist. I have thick, coarse hair that's color-treated. You don't need to use the entire Olaplex line for it to work. I use the #3 with either my Neuma shampoo or Kerastase. Totally worth it.
Enjoyed this video! The Wander is my new favorite mascara. I have good lashes but this amps them up with so little effort and no clumping! I like it better than my usual Chanel Le Volume.I just wish they made it in burgundy and brown.
Wow, your from MA? Hello neighbor! Another great video!
Also I laughed so hard at the deodorant story!
Hi! Olaplex leave on didn't work for me at all.
Lol-ed your pits woke you up?
HI! Angie, so glad you take the time to test for us but I have a question about your favorite Chanel lumier foundation. If I am looking at it correctly it has fragrance, talc, and alcohol in it. That would be bad for very sensitive skin as mine is correct?
I have olaplex mixed in with my colour when I have my hair coloured. When the colour is washed off I then have the treatment. I have never used the shampoo or conditioner and have remained frizz free! My hair is exactly like yours.
I have tried a lot of different “natural” deodorants, without aluminum. The La Ville was a fail. In fact they all have been a fail until I tried Arm and Hammer Essentials in the Fresh fragrance. It actually works with no odor.
?? from Michigan! I tried so many Peter T. products and none worked out...gave up on that brand.
Lol.... the pit story!!! ????
Hi Angie; you should try Dream Coat by Colorwow for your hair. It is humidity resistant and lasts 2 to 3 shampoos.
Angie, would love for you to do a review on the Ponds Rejuveness Anti-Wrinkle Cream. It is suppose to be a dupe for Lamer. Thank you!
The CAT.... plaffff. Haha. Can't stop laughing. Hilarious your face! You should have played it back. No we didn't rewind 2, 3 times... LOL! This video is already a week old? How did I miss it... and there is a video already with EMILY's palette? Let me see that! I love OLAPLEX too. I have nr.3 just for home use, left it on on for almost 2 hours last week. What a difference. Truly amazing. I ordered hair Clip-Ins for the first time and would like wigs too. I finally dare to experiment. xx..
Your make up is stunning ? I love olaplex no.3 overnight: apply to damp hair in amongst my pm cleansing routine, use a sleep cap and rinse or wash in the am-voila a good hair day.
I thought the farmacy cleaning balm is way better than Clinique. The Clinique stuff left a film on me, whereas the farmacy stuff rinses off completely.
N
Unlashed looks so good on you ?✨
Loved the cat blooper !!!
I have very fine but thick highlighted blonde hair ( not much gray yet , maybe 5% and the highlights hide it) and use the treatment. It's really great - my hair is shinier and feels stronger. I notice when I skip a week. I found leaving it in 20 minutes works best for me.
OMG, you had me rolling out with your deodorant story! ha ha ha
Hi from London ?
That Necklace Though!!! ?
The Olaplex leave on conditioner is great. I have it downstairs and slip on a shower cap then go about house work then jump in the shower. I make sure to pretreat hair three days before and after highlights.
Hello from Blighty (England) Just settled down to watch with a chilled glass of Pinot Grigio (which you very kindly suggested)
Love your videos as usual!! You mentioned anastasia norvina being an expert palette. Just wondering what would be considered beginner and "medium" palettes. Thanks!
My hair felt so weighed down with the Olaplex leave-in. If you try it, please compare with the shampoo and conditioner. I am reluctant to bother not only because of how weighed down my hair felt, but because the fragrance-smell was strong.
Talk about cost, I use a detoxing, fragrance-free shampoo that is over $50!! ?
Angie - Try IGK Good Behavior. My hair is JUST like yours and frizz is a constant battle. The Good Behavior works WONDERS! I used it Friday and walked for ALS in downtown Atlanta on Saturday. SO hot and SO humid but my hair did NOT frizz! Crazy! It's kind of magical. LOL!
Thank you for another wonderful video! Yes, I would love to see your Favs and Fails once a month!
Please keep us posted on shampoo and conditioner!!! My favorite conditioner (Origins Knot Free) has also been discontinued. Boo! :( It was the same price as the Olaplex, but it was so awesome. I don't know why they discontinued - makes me salty, but what can I do. Wish I could find a less expensive one, but everything I have tried over my 50 years of life has not compared. I'll try the Olaplex and try to use sparingly.
So glad you left the kitty crash in! Cracked me up?
The cat cracked me up ?? great video , thanks ! Love your videos even though I'm just shy of 40 I do have very dry skin showing signs of aging around my eyes and really awful 11 lines in my brow. Anyone know anything that can help disguise or soften those when you have such dynamic movement from brows that never stay still when u talk??
Hi from MN, love your videos. It's scarey when we find out the odor is coming from us...lol. I heard the Schmidt Naturals deodorant works pretty good from a YouTuber and I might try it out.
The more you use a deodoarant the more you will need one.. When I retired I stopped using them daily since I was home more often. I noticed that after awhile my armpits had hardly any bad smell, aand I do not live alone. Just an FYI, a good soap and some talc daily works well, unless you are of course doing super strenuous sweatie work outs every day.
The olaplex treatment is amazing! I put it on either 30mins before washing, but usually I just use it overnight before shampooing. I’ve been using it for years. I recently bought the conditioner with the sale but I use it about every other time I wash to make it last. I haven’t tried the shampoo but my hair has been great with my current program.
Hi from Mass
Hi! Olaplex leave on didn't work any better than other hair masks. Different formula than the salon? Maybe. But I was bummed I wasted those $.
I developed a severe nickel sensitivity after getting my ears pierced for my 15th birthday. It started with earrings then progressed to the point where I had a constant rash on my stomach from the metal snaps/ zippers of my pants & one on my back from wearing a bra. Anyway, jewelry was a no-go unless it was plastic, wood, etc. Then I found an online source for nickel free jewelry called Simply Whispers. I even re pierced my own ears at the age of 43 with their ear piercing kit & have been able to wear earrings again. They offer mainly earrings but do have bracelets, necklaces, rings & watches as well. I swapped out all my French hooks & pendant chains for Simply Whispers nickel free. They're very affordable, costume jewelry but do offer real gold & sterling silver options as well. Great option for people with nickel sensitivity who want to wear jewelry again.
sooooo funny with the deodorant, ii finally found one with magnesium it is pricey but it lasts all day and night!!!! I need that it is called N'fuze at Whole Foods.
Love the faves and fails. I like another opinion before I purchase. And not everyone is honest about new launches in products,
Hi from Texas!
Hi Angie! Watching in Lisboa Portugal!
I’ve been using the Olaplex treatment for a year and really like it. Keeps my colour in longer.
Hi Angie! I'm a licensed hairstylist who uses the whole Olaplex system. Try using the weekly Olaplex treatment, and then the Redken Frizz Dismiss line for shampoo, conditioning, and styling products- it's AMAZING for frizz!
Was bummed about my Olaplex results. Like some people, it actually made my hair worse - felt like straw after 1st use. Apparently it added too much keratin to my hair.
I was wondering if you've tried the J. One Jellypack primer? It's one of Glow Recipe's bestsellers. The reason I ask is because I also have an oily T-zone and sensitive skin, and this is the only primer that really keeps my skin matte and doesn't cause breakouts. Love your videos!
Omg your cat falling ?
I’ve been using all three of the Olaplex products. My hair was quite damaged and Olaplex 3 saved my hair. When the shampoo and conditioner came out I snapped them up immediately. Yes they are a bit pricy, by I don’t wash my hair every day any more, so shampoos and conditioners tend to last longer. And, you don’t use as much per application—you should only need less than a quarter amount so, I anticipate this product will last a long time.
Loblol!!! You cracked me up with the deodorant story ? I tried one and the same thing happened to me LOL
You know what really works though is a mixture of coconut oil and baking soda, I read that somewhere and I tried it and it does work but I didn't continue using it because it felt sort of gritty......but it works! ......and some of the recipes added essential oils , but I only used just coconut oil and baking soda.
Same here Angie. I have been trying different natural deodorant for close than 2 years now and decided to give Lavanilla a go because of all the hype. Made a mistake and bought 3 ones, the Sports one, the Vanilla one and the Vanilla Lavander and they all make my armpits stink after some hours of use. Biggest regret.
Hi Angie, I really enjoy your videos, but you mix products that that test on animals with those who don’t. Would you be interested in making a video of best products that do not test on animals (and do not sell in China, where animal testing is obligated by law)?
I am quite sure that there is a huge number of us who would love to see that!
I’m seeing the effects of the Olaplex. I would get the #3, leave on overnight and wash out the next day. I’d use the conditioner monthly but get out of the shower and leave on for 10-20 min.
Hi Angie- two things; Olaplex once a week conditioner is worth a try, I love it, but I haven't tried the other products you mentioned so who knows! And I'm bummed you didn't like the LaVanila! I use the vanilla/grapefruit scent and have found that to be the one, but I also don't mind a moist armpit. Thanks again for your GREAT reviews!
Omg I can’t use natural deodorant either ???
Hi Angie-I too recently tried the Olaplex No 5 treatment and I love it! Its not that hard to do because you actually apply it while your hair is dry and dirty. So I multi task for 10 mins prior to hopping in the shower. I find it VERY effective my hair is super soft and non frizzy. I have been considering trying the shampoo & conditioner because some of my friends are using it and loving it. But like you said I thought it was a bit pricey so I have not. Thanks for all your reviews:)
Omg your killing me that deodorant story???
And very funny!
Have you reviewed the dermalogica products yet? I was thinking of trying them but I'd like to see some older women reviews first. All the ones on youtube are very young women.
Thank you, Angie. You are so knowledgeable and I trust your opinion.
Hi Angie. Like you I battle the frizz! I bought Olaplex No. 3 a few days ago and used it that night (left it on overnight). My hair was noticibly softer and frizz free after washing. I'm now on day 3 and still no frizz! I'll be repurchasing and will also look at getting the shampoo and conditioner once I use up some of my existing stash.
I've not tried the shampoo and conditioner yet for the very reason of the price point. However, you will fall in LOVE with the leave in! I'm a habitual blonde and it is one of my favorite ways to strengthen and repair.
