I wanted to share the
I wanted to share the supplements I take to help support my Keto Diet, Thyroid & Gallbladder. I also talk about the MTHFR gene mutation. Do you have this?
Please always consult with your doctor before taking any supplements. The information on this channel is my opinion and not intended as advice without the consent of your physician.
Info on the MTHFR gene mutation can be found here: https://wellnessmama.com/27148/mthfr-mutation/
I really wonder if I have this gene mutation! I have had gall bladder and kidney issues/stones (2 years before starting Keto the first time at 30 years old!) and more recently about 4 months before starting Keto this time, hypothyroid issues, severe vit D deficiency, severe Anemia, and was so tired I was literally unable to get up out of bed for hours at a time. I felt like I was carrying around lead weights all over my body 24/7. She has helped me a lot with natural supplements and recommended keto (!!!) which has helped a ton, my gall bladder stones are stable, my thyroid is functioning within normal limits, although still right on the lowest side, but I am still very anemic and just cannot get my vit D up. I am doing much better but I am still not 100%. I am really excited to show her these supplements and get the go ahead to try them and get tested for this gene mutation. It sounds like we have experienced similar symptoms. I am so happy you found things that work and help you feel better and I really appreciate you sharing! I am shocked you don't have thousands of subs! You have really unique and relevant and important info to share. Maybe try commenting a whole bunch across many keto vids here on YouTube. That's how I found you! I liked your channel name and nice comment so I clicked and was really pleasantly surprised. It is so refreshing to see a real person I can relate to who makes me feel like I can do this! I know I am super corny but I don't have any friends doing keto and I am a full time stay at home mom of two young kids, doing homeschool, and my daughter has special needs so the only adults I regularly talk to are her tutor and Drs and therapists and then God. It's nice to wind down after a challenging day like today and not see a size 0 adorable little 20 year old telling me how easy keto is. I am not trying to be negative, I love their energy, I just can't relate at all. When I see a beautiful woman who is around my age (early 30's) and is REAL and knowledgeable and totally kicking butt it is just great. Thanks a bunch. - Keto Momma from the West Coast ?????
dr Berry just posted a new video on hypothyroid meds, is that in your category or did you say hashimoto? or is that the same? sorry about the spelling :D
I have hashimotos and restless leg among other autoimmune diseases. In reference to your restless leg, I have noticed if chicory root or inulin is in my foods or supplements the restless leg is full force.
You may want to have your nurse practitioner test you for CREST syndrome.
You could be my daughter? We have the same health profile. As a matter of fact my daughters name is Aimee?
Please DON'T take a supplemental calcium. You mentioned that as part of your multi. Briefly explained, it will NEVER be absorbed into your bones, but it WILL accumulate as plaque in your arteries! Check out a book called Vitamin K2 and the Calcium Paradox. It's all explained in that book. Basically, vitamin K2 is what activates the proteins that are needed to absorb dietary (food) calcium into our bones and the proteins that flush out the calcium plaque in our arteries. There are a few videos on this subject, as well. This is a very serious matter. At the very least, just get calcium from food sources; NOT supplements.
