What is the rationale of wearing gloves while you're out? As a nurse, each time my glove becomes contaminated, I change my glove to avoid cross contamination. Telling people to wear gloves while they are out gives them a false sense of security. Also, have you watch people in public wearing gloves? They touch items, surface, money etc then touch their face!! Wrong message being promoted here.

Masks must be changed when they become wet with saliva. Never share masks with others. Masks after use should be disposed properly. Reusable masks should be disinfected right after use. Masks are effective only when used in combination with frequent hand-cleaning with soap/water or hand sanitizer. Avoid touching the mask after wearing, should wash hands with soap/water/ hand sanitizer before and after touching the mask.

My new mask was quite tight and it got wet with spit just from me talking with it on. Altogether I wore it about 40 min like this, about 50/50 indoor and outdoor, always more than 6' away from other individuals, all of whom were wearing masks. Just a note--when "washing your hands" with hand sanitizer, she is doing it incorrectly. You need to also spread your fingers and interlace them, in a clasping/prayer position, repeatedly, so that all parts of your hands and fingers are sanitized. Then let your hands air dry. (Another note--as your phone is probably the most often touched fomite you are around everyday, I always wipe both sides of my phone with the "extra" sanitizer on my wet hands, set it down to let it air dry, and then continue "washing" my hands. Just a tip!)

That's bad advice when you said to hang it up away from people or place it on a piece of paper and then re-use it for the day. The proper way would be to take it off, place it in a plastic bag and put it away for the day. Then you should replace it with another, clean mask. ALWAYS
