ive been into skincare for like 3 yrs now bec of how fickle my skin is i just look irritated and not really pimples u know and the one ingredient that really worked on me was sulfur! i use sulfur soap and honestly it smells and not elegant to think of putting on ur skin but it was the only ingredient that calmed my mild rosacea. i only use it if i need it bec its super drying. it also worked on my hormonal acne
So should I use another exfoliator if my cleanser already has BHA in it?

I can’t get rid of my breakouts and pimples.. like it helps a little, but only a part of it, my skincare routine: La Roche Posey effacular H cleanser , toner The Body Shop Aloe , niacinamide the ordinary, CeraVe PM moisturizer, Rosehip oil the ordinary! Someone pls help lol

I didn’t really know that about glycerin- huh the more you know! But I love layering a hyaluronic acid toner with a mist which is mainly water and niacinamide and it has helped so much! I also really love honey based products. They just work really well on my skin. My favorite would by from By Ecom! Another ingredient I love is surprisingly Zinc Oxide. I first discovered it through Avene’s cicafalte (I cant remember how is spelled whoopsies! Heh) but it helped with my wound healing so much!

Just a quick note: regarding the ambophenol LRP study, just because a study is funded, doesn’t actually mean the findings are skewed or invalid. That’s conspiracy theory “logic”.
Science/ studies cost money and conflicts of interest must be declared. If you think the results of the study are biased or “can’t be trusted”, the burden of proof is on YOU to prove how the results have been corrupted by funding.
You should be looking at the findings, the data processing used, the methodology, the sample size of the study, and so on. Judge a study by it’s findings not funding.
Omg my face to dry and flake out when I used to live back home and pure Glycerin was my go to. It would make my skin super soft the next morning. Didn't love the stickiness of it but my skin was healing

I’ve been using niacinimide for maybe 6 months now and it’s hands down my favourite ingredient of all time, I have an insatiable thirst for it. Also love BHA, and have been using products lately with aloe leaf juice which seems to be very soothing but can’t 100% confirm that’s the star ingredient yet
Hi! ?? I’m a new subscriber and I’ve been binge watching your and Robert’s videos! Skin care has been my new hobby for just over a year now. Question: I can’t remember what video it was in, but you were talking about Cerave skin care. Yes, the packaging is boring… LOL… But I was wondering if you have the drugstore “generic” versions like we do in the states? I know Walgreens & Walmart make their own and probably C V S as well. Much, much more affordable! They also make copies of Cetaphil, Aveeno, and all the ones usually recommended by dermatologists. According to one dermatologist on YouTube, they are exact dupes. I primarily use the cleansers & moisturizers, not the eye creams & such. I think they work amazingly well. I’m 68 & used to have oily skin and now I don’t know exactly what WTH I have, I guess dry-ish with a less dry T zone? My new fave is the Cerave Eczema Creamy Oil (or dupe!). You don’t have to have eczema to use it, and it still has all the ceramides, etc. It makes my skin so soft and the oil absorbs in a few minutes, so it does not leave you with an oily face at all. If you do have those “knock-offs” in your drugstores, could you possibly do a review on them one day? Love your channel!

Tip - If you have any cream which is highly comedogenic, apply Glycerin at first and then apply the cream. Glycerin being an occulent, creates a layer of barrier and prevents the comedogenic ingredients to act up on your skin.
I have a cream which I didn't know is comedogenic at first, and it lead to a lot of pimples and whiteheads. Then I did this trick and it's under control .
